I just made this delicious clean eat chickpea hummus based on this recipe. It was delicious, the hubs loved it. We still want to try it out with natural chickpeas, soaked at home. So, here’s what we did, although we want to try it too with roasted red pepper, carrot, etc!!
- 1 can chickpeas, drain half the liquid, keep other half
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 cup organic sesame tahini
- 1/4 tsp sea salt, freshly ground
- 1 small fresh garlic clove
Just place everything in a food processor…
and pulse until you reach a smooth paste.
Enjoy with veggies or toasted pita bites! I added a small drizzle of EVOO and a dash of paprika!
