We love pizza. The hubs loves them more than I, but I still love them too. The thing is, I try not to eat pizza very often. But these thin pita pizzas are amazing. They are so thin, so crunchy, and so healthy, I guess. More than regular pizza, at least. And the best thing, is you can add many things as you like! Onion, peppers, pineapple, veggies, broccoli, garlic, ham, sausage, mini meatballs, chicken, anything!
So for these, I used:
- 4 thin pita bread
- 6 tbsp pizza sauce (or pasta sauce)
- 6 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 2 cups mozarella cheese, shredded
- 6 slices double-cream cheese
- 4 slices Black Forest Ham
- 4 slices ham
I made two tomato and two BBQ pizazas. So first, place 3 tbsp sauce (tomato or BBQ) on each pita.
Now, spread them with a spoon.
Top them with mozarella cheese. Plenty of cheese, don’t be shy.
Now, place ham aquares on top. On one of them I decided tu use mozarella and double-cream.
Bake for 12-15 minutes (depending on crispiness level you’d like) at 260°F.
